Three ways to stand with the committee

Membership, contributions and volunteer time are what keep this association running. Nothing here is compulsory — everything here is counted and reported.

Membership

Become a member

Any resident of the served communities aged 18 or over may apply for membership at any committee assembly, seconded by an existing member. Members pay a modest annual due set at the annual assembly, receive the quarterly financial statement, may vote on project priorities and office-bearer elections, and may join any working group.

  • One member, one vote at every assembly
  • Quarterly accounts sent to every member
  • Open enrolment in working groups
  • Hardship waiver available for annual dues

Donations & Sponsorships

Support our cause

Bank transfer

Donations are received into the association's single controlled account. Contact the Treasurer by email for current transfer details and to request a receipt for your records.

Public grants

As an incorporated association (Reg. No. 501668) we are eligible to receive government, regional and development-partner grants for public-benefit projects.

Partner organizations

NGOs, churches, schools and businesses may sponsor a named project — a water catchment, an apprenticeship intake, a mangrove nursery.

In-kind contributions

Tools, timber, seedlings, teaching materials and transport are as valuable as cash and are recorded in the same public register.
